Lots of t-shirts doing the talking today. Mostly on the Daily Mail sidebar, to be honest. Lana del Rey has been snapped allegedly teasing the paparazzi by wearing a vintage style Guns n’ Roses t-shirt, adding fuel to the rumours that she is secretly (!) dating the band’s frontman Axl Rose (what a musical dreamteam that would so not be).
Not only is Lana delighting in pulling the proverbial wool over the beady eyes of the press, but Rihanna (now thankfully back to a much less dodgy hair colour) has revealed that she and all her Battleship co-stars will be wearing personalised t-shirts with a photo of director Pete Berg’s face on the front. Rihanna said ‘This journalist came into an interview of ours, I think in London, and he had a Rihanna t-shirt and Brooklyn said, ‘I’m getting a Rihanna T-shirt’.”I said, ‘No we should get Pete Berg T-shirts’. So it was her idea and we ended up getting them printed and the whole cast has them. I cannot wait to see his face’. Well, the face will be on the t-shirt, presumably, so she won’t need to look very far.
And the news story to top all news stories (or maybe the one that will make you want to top yourself) is that Saturday’s singer Mollie King has been wearing a blue vest top in a “royal” blue colour. Concrete evidence that she might be seeing Prince Harry. Maybe.

We have just come up with a lovely new template just in time for the wedding season. Or at least the pre wedding season.
This is all about stag or hen do’s (and probably don’ts). We have designed a killer template featuring heart with a hint of naughtiness. You have the option of adding a variety of texts to heart with horns. There is also a vast choice of text colours, all available on a selection of t-shirts.
Take the strain out of one of the hardest things about organising the all important stag or hen party and let us do it for you. Then you just have to make sure everyone gets home!

I was really, really trying to hold off making a Samantha Brick “how beautiful am I?” style slogan t-shirt, but I can ever so slowly feel myself succumbing to the inevitable. I think what’s finally pushed me over the precipice was a peek at some of the other articles Ms Brick has penned. Titles such as ‘How could a well-educated TV executive let her addiction to psychics cost her £25,000 and ruin her marriage?’ and “I married a man child” give me too much of an insight into her personality. And honestly, if she is as beautiful as she maintains she is, the beauty really is only skin deep.
So, I’m going to have to join the mob and go in for a bit of Brick bashing I’m afraid. Soz and all that.

Schools in the northern city of Vitoria da Conquista Brazil have introduced uniform tagging in a bid to reduce truancy, it was reported this week. At least 20,000 children up to the age of 14 will have computer chips sewn into their school t-shirts, so that their school can keep tabs on them, monitoring when they enter and leave the school grounds in an attempt to cut down on the number of children skipping lessons. The t-shirts are washable and can be ironed, with the chip concealed under the school badge.
These tees have been described as “intelligent uniforms”. Let’s just hope that the pupils are as clever!

Nice to know the government are making an extra £32 million in revenue. No wonder they’re encouraging everyone to fill up. How about this?
And since the whole fuel crisis seems to be overshadowing the cash for access scandal, and Cameron riding Murdoch’s old nag, do you think your tee should be saying

I love this t-shirt by urban shop Darkside Clothing. Probably one of the better Twiglight inspired slogans, the “I heart sparkly vampires” is deceptively simple yet marvellously effective. And if this weather continues (unlikely, but would be nice) then every day will be “Wang on a t-shirt” day. What joy!
The “I heart” tee is enjoying a bit of a renaissance at the moment. Have a play with our t-shirt designer which enables you to “heart” anything you like, and see if you can come up with some equally fantastic slogans to personalise your own t-shirt!

This could be the tee that ends all of your work clothes crises. Or maybe it’s the tee which would just be the kiss of death for your career. Either way, this is a masterpiece of t-shirt design. It is a t-shirt, with a tie and handkerchief already printed on, so that it looks like a shirt. Amazing, huh? No ironing that hanky, no tying that tie, hey! not buttoning up the shirt even. This is the sartorial equivalent of getting a rubbery cheeseburger at the Ritz. Maybe not your everyday style choice, but kind of fun in a weird way.
It comes courtesy of Italian company Koolto, along with a whole range of equally nifty designs. Take a look, you know you want to!

Wow! This t-shirt is really on fire! A smokin’ hot number from the Maison Martin Margiela designer team, this is a sure fire hit for the summer festival season. Wang it on with jeans or cut offs and sit around the flames of the camp fire, toasting your marshmallows.
Well, if you’re a VIP, anyway. This price tag of £155 might make this a bit too smokin’ for most people. Although looking at the length and the fit, and the all over print, this would be the sort of tee you would just keep wearing. So, maybe you could justify the expense, or take a few minutes to create your own!

The T-shirt of Dorian Grey?
I did have to have a little smile at this pap snap of Rod Stewart’s latest tall, blond wife, Penny Lancaster. The lovely kind lady that she is, she is sporting a vintage t-shirt with a lovely print of her hubby on it. What a loyal girl. And yet, how old is that t-shirt? That is definitely the recognisable smoulder of the Rod Stewart of yore, with his shirt buttoned down and ready to go. It must be from at least three wives ago. Is Penny happy that she’s got him so far down the line?
I wish she had a little slogan to go with the t-shirt. Just to flag up that she’s being ironic. Something along the lines of “Maggie May not, but Penny still would” or “In my dreams”. Oh there’s so many things she could come up with. What a spoilsport!
