I’ve never quite worked out what Sean Puff/Daddy/Diddy/Puffy/P Combs is really called, or even what he does, but there’s no denying he’s very successful at whatever it is. Right now, he’s another celebrity having a lovely sunny holiday in the Caribbean with his entourage. Or are those his kids? Never mind, minions of some kind or another. Because that’s what Sean P-Diddy-Puffy-Man does; he has people. And they do it for him. Even if they are little.
He (the Diddy One) is sporting an extremely intriguing t-shirt here. On it is a lovely arty monochrome print of his ex girlfriend Naomi Campbell who I always think of as having some strange affinity with that lovable wrinkly E.T. (“N.C. throw phone”). I’m not quite sure of the etiquette of wearing a saucy print of your ex on your t-shirt. Would not your current have words to say about that? I think the Puff is playing with fire.

No, take This!
It was inevitable really wasn’t it, Robbie getting back together with Gary Barlow just about when his solo career was wilting a bit. Geri Haliwell did the same with the Spice Girls (although she didn’t do quite so well as a solo artist as the Robster). It seems pointless struggling on your own when there’s a comeback tour nicely lined up for you. Comeback tours make a fortune for those oldies who remember bands the first time around and want a bit of nostalgia. So by drawing it out for as long as possible, dropping hints every which way, Take That have finally got back (together) for good.
Here’s Robbie singing in Paris wearing a lovely Sass and Bide t-shirt. Sporting a slightly er….zany expression maybe all those years without a good songwriter have been a bit tough. Still, good to see Robbie and the guys, older and wiser, or should that be wider?

I'm not your Friend!
X Factor just wouldn’t be the same if there weren’t outrages, sob stories and a bit of judge bashing along the way, and this series is doing it’s darnedest to to accommodate as many controversies as it can think of. Firstly, there was the autotune scandal, where it emerged that none of the contestants could sing, which was a massive surprise to us all. Then, Princess Cheryl was struck down with malaria, only to reemerge and find herself at the end of hate mail and death threats for failing to put one of the more tuneful contestants through to the live finals. She might have got away with choosing seemingly slightly unbalanced teenager Cher Lloyd based on her initial audition but provoked cries of “unfair” when she picked flakey Katie Waissel over Gamu Nhengu, who is now facing serious visa issues.
This calls for a t-shirt of some kind of another, possibly a little “Anyone but Katie” number. But what would X Factor be without a few boos and hisses for the pantomime villains!

Paradise Price!
Amidst a whole lot of controversy and spangles, Katie Price has been promoting her new book, Paradise. You might have thought she wouldn’t have time to write all of these books, and er…yeah…. I guess you’d be right, but I can’t really see that bothering anyone who buys it, can you? Price, who could run advanced degree courses on how to self publicise, is slightly better known for her celebrity ubiquitousness than any actual achievements in the literary world.
However, I would so love it if some of the Booker Prize nominees would turn up to a book signing wearing a sparkly version of their sparkly book on their enormous chests a la Katie. It has got to be one of the best pieces of clothing I have ever seen, the personalised sequin tutu. Everyone will want one, and Katie Price will once again prove that not only is she having the last laugh, it is taking her all the way to the bank!
