If you’ve been on another planet, you may have missed the fact that a new Royal baby was born. Otherwise you’ll already be saturated with the knowledge that Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, possibly already the most papped bump in the world, now has a face.

Already the right royal merchandising carousel has begun. You can buy commemorative everythings, from Yorkshire Tea to t-shirts the best of which being a nice little Not On the High Street slogan number. the baby t-shirt says ‘I was Charlotte first’ obviously stamping any other baby Charlotte’s parents with the sign of good taste which led them to choose the popular name. Personally, I think it would make more sense for grown ups named Charlotte to wear the same tee, as it would make an even better statement. Maybe an ‘I’ve been Charlotte for years and I’m still not a bloody princess’ t-shirt. I’ll ask my friend Charlotte she’s feel special wearing one. Not sure how it’d go down actually.

Just hearing the news that Sam Cam had gone and popped early made me go all warm and fuzzy inside. So, to celebrate this momentous occasion, I thought I’d find a few nice little baby t-shirts and/or baby grows for the newest little addition to the Cameron clan.

Whilst one of my very favourite slogans for babywear is the old one of “I’ve just spent 9 months inside”, I did find a website called “Dribble Factory” which has a selection of cracking slogans for a range of baby items, from long sleeved t-shirts to bibs and bodysuits. I love the “I broke it, so sue me” slogan, but my mega favourite has to be the father and baby “I heart boobies” twin pack. Kinda funny and gross at the same time. The “Evil Dictator” t-shirt would be fitting for quite a few toddlers, and you might need to find parents with a good sense of humour to appreciate the “I blame the parents” option.

I am so evil!

But what would be the most suitable for the Camerons? Oh, it has to be an “I agree with Nick” t-shirt, no question!

The Future's Bright.....

The Future's Bright.....

An interesting look  here at how a baby’s future might plan out with the marvellous  Mysterio T-shirts. Pop one over the child’s head and it will display the decision of the great and wonderful, not to mention completely bonkers Mysterio. These t-shirts come in a sealed fabric bag, with boy or girl options, and a truly bizarre range of careers picked out for the professionals of tomorrow. This makes a fab gift for all aspirational parents; wouldn’t it be fascinating to see how they react to the thought of their minute prodigy becoming a monkey wrangler, a plastic surgeon, a romantic novelist or a game show host. The most interesting thing is that you don’t know what you’re going to get, which makes it rather fun for both the giver and the receiver. Not something one tends to say very often.
