I rather like that ASOS is carrying over it’s sale into February, with more stuff being added. Definitely makes sense for me, as someone who finds the first few weeks of the year absolute torture, with all those bargains and no cash to spend.
This Nike t-shirt caught my eye. Naughty slogan, with Olympic undertones, is down to £14 which is the sort of bargain I like.
This is the perfect time to scour the second wind of the sales, when cash flow is slightly more than the post festive trickle. And this t-shirt will be brilliant in the summer, when everyone else is going all Olympic doolally. Bargain!

The sales have started and shoppers are buzzing around like a host of demented bees in the hope of getting a pre Christmas bargain. So it’s time to have a little look around at those things you always want, but can’t afford until a big chunk has been knocked off the price. I love this t-shirt by the wonderful Elvis Jesus, available from ASOS for the reduced price of £54 (from £90). Featuring a relaxed round neck with a huge and gorgeous piece of embroidery on the front, this is one tee you will want to own for ever.

I love this tee by River Island, available from ASOS for a mere fifteen quid. A lovely slogan with the word “smile” written upwards to create a peter pan collar effect at the neckline. That’s surely two tees for the price of one, which really is something to smile about!

How much do I love this skull print t-shirt by Alexander McQueen? The trademark skull gets a spooky reinvention and looks almost tie dyed on this slubby navy cotton t-shirt. It’s past most peoples’ budgets, at a whacking £280 available from Net a Porter, but is truly fabulous and is one of those pieces which would last for years and years and years.
If that’s just a leetle bit too pricey, however, then take a look at this one from River Island available at ASOS. For only £18 it won’t blast the budget as much as the McQueen one, but has a McQueen-y feel to it.
Two different tees, two madly different budgets, quite a similar look, really. But one is Alexander McQueen, and that just makes it about 15 times more expensive. I still love it though!

Foxy!
I think this t-shirt from Wildfox Couture is quite appropriate, in terms of relevant slogans. Now we’re totally wedding-ed out, we can go back to how we were. Sort of.
Wildfox have taken the slogan t-shirt and made it into a cult phenomenon; instantly recognisable they are a favourite A-lister’s brand. With a slouchy fit, and a vintage feel, they are the sort of garments that will be wheeled out again and again over the years, getting more and more sort and lovely.
Check out the range at ASOS for an instant trendsetting look.

Fats Boy!
I’m beginning to become quite a fan of ASOS for t-shirt sourcing. They have a really good selection of tees, and all with their own little video which really lets you see what you’re getting.
I happened on a selection of t-shirt prints by London photographer Fatsarazzi; amazing artwork on classic round neck shirts, with a logo on the back. Further research into who or what on earth Fatsarazzi could possibly be showed another selection of tees available from Futura Laboratories, this time with the date of the photo together with a little description of how the photo came about.

Fats Back!
I love this idea; it really makes the t-shirt into a work of art, and gives the photo a frame of reference. This is a great idea to try out with your holiday snaps. Handwritten text goes really well with photos; try scanning in your own writing together with a picture and playing around with sizes. You can make some great t-shirts for friends kind of like photo album style. In the meantime, sit back and admire the fabulous Fatsarazzi!

A New Silk Tee!
Online clothing store ASOS started life as a web based provider of celebrity copies. Since it’s foundation in 2000 with only three employees, ASOS (an acronym for As Seen On Screen) has become the UK’s biggest online only fashion and beauty store.
Now featuring a diverse range of labels it caters mainly for a price concious teen to young adult market. It’s major advantage is that it showcases so many different brands, although to my mind, that can be a bit of a hindrance as well. I do tend to get a bit overwhelmed, a bit like reading a takeaway menu; you just end up wishing there were only two choices.
I do love this slogan tee however, from very happening label Vila. A lovely boat neck silk tee, with mid length sleeves and a deep scoop to the back. A really brilliant alternative to a cotton tee, and the fabric looks amazing. What is particularly good about ASOS is that every item features a little catwalk movie, so you can see how garments look.
Well worth checking out if ever you feel the need to browse, browse and browse some more!

Just the mere thought of Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks is enough to make grown men weep. But the sight of the curvy one slurping the wobbliest of jelly on a film set will finish most red blooded males off entirely!
So, here’s Christina in a lovely Wildfox Couture t-shirt, sucking on a spoonful of dessert, just a warning though; might turn your legs to er….jelly!

Mmmmm, delicious!
That’s probably it for the rest of the day now. Christina and the spoon will take over. Luckily, it’s Friday, so a good day to wind down early. Phew!
So, either we go for the t-shirt Christina is wearing, available from ASOS.

Be like The Curvy One!
This is a pretty good start, and you could get quite a lot of fun out of it. Or you could just have a little dribble over Christina at her finest, up to you!

The Green Goddess!

One man's religion!
Having seen the lovely Tolula Adeyemi wearing a t-shirt by Religion in the “Today I’m Wearing” section in Vogue, I thought it would be good and proper to check out what else Religion has on offer.
Lots of moody cheekbone-y models wearing a great selection of either skinny leggings or circulation impairing jeans teamed with an amazing selection of graphic t-shirts, some black and white, and others like the one Tolula was wearing, with a mixture of black and white prints and colours.
I had a rather a loud chortle when I saw this men’s t-shirt on ASOS featuring a beautiful bikini body with the “I heart” at the top and the scantily clad torso stretching down the front of the t-shirt. It looks kind of incongruous on a man, but therein lies the humour, I guess.
