For the Stylish Ear!
Only my mother would send me a large red pair of Earbags, which are like little sleeping bags. For ears. They arrived in the post yesterday and when I tried them on, I looked like Mr Spock in disguise or a fairy with a cold. Not all that flattering, and yet just the sort of practical thing my mother is famous for. I just know that the next time it’s cold and I forget a hat, or get a snowball in my ear or the like, my mother will be on the phone, asking me why I wasn’t wearing my earbags. Well, because I don’t want to look like a vulnerable Vulcan, mother, that’s why.
So, I have to store my earbags in the glove compartment of my car, next to the airbags. I know I’ll end up wearing them, and being grudgingly grateful for them; mothers always being right, of course!

Just Hoofing Around!
The average woman will spend £31,000 on shoes in a lifetime…allegedly. Although I’m sure if you asked any women they would strenuously deny it, whilst doing shifty eye movements as they calculate how far above average they come in. Shoes are arguably the most important part of an outfit, so these be-hoofed lovelies, especially made to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Cheltenham festival this week should have you first past the post in the fashion stakes.
Commissioned by Betfair, the boots are lovingly made with real horsehair and cost a mere £1300, only a few percent of your lifetime budget, so well worth every penny, and all the money goes to charity, so it’s more of a donation than a purchase.
What I love about these boots is how they really suit having heels; there’s a real equine elegance to them. I shouldn’t be surprised if they catch on in the real world. Take that Christian Louboutin!

I think Kate Middleton seems a lovely girl, and that Burberry trench the other day when she was tossing was beautiful, but I am finding myself slightly troubled by this personalised “What would you Do?” canvas from Not On The High Street. “What would Kate Do?” seems a bit similar to the whole “What would Jesus Do?” craze that was going around a few years back. I know Kate’s got shiny hair, but isn’t this elevating her up to rather a high plain? And it’s totally obvious what Kate is going to do; marry a prince and live happily ever after. Duh!

The Vikings are Coming!
Having shown you the amazing all over bearded wonders not so very long ago, I am delighted to share this new range of hats from American t-shirt retailers Snorgtees. I say delighted because they really are absolutely amazing an could (almost) revolutionise the whole hat market. If not the world!
The mohican-like Spartan woolly (“for when you want people to see how bad-ass you are from a distance”) is accompanied by the beautiful and feminine Viking helmet; all guaranteed to keep your head warm and get you noticed.
What are you waiting for? Get ahead! Get a really interesting hat!

For Wills!
In the race to win the crown for most tacky Royal Wedding Souvenir, these Crown Jewels condoms must surely come first. A truly novel approach to personalising merchandise, the Wills and Kate condoms are bound to be a sure fire hit on the biggest of big days.
You can bet they will shoot off the shelves as shoppers rush out to grasp for themselves a little bit of history. Or they could be a brilliant gift for a loved one or friend. Whatever you decide, they really are one of the funniest bits of memorabilia around and will definitely be one to hang onto for posterity!

Things being what they are in this modern age of television, you might think that Alex Reid would have an inkling of what he was getting into by marrying Katie Price. Known primarily for her alter ego Jordan and inflatable assets, Katie is a walking, talking reality TV show. Reid, who is a cage fighter and wannabe actor is said to have gotten fame hungry, and have used her to further his career. The irony was too much for anyone to bear, so he has to go. Right now! One thing you can say for Ms Price, she doesn’t hang about. Cue lots of teary interviews and photoshoots from both sides. A reconciliation, maybe? A new clothing range? Definitely more Botox.
Anyway, here’s Alex in happier times, in a lovely rhinestone t-shirt, back when he was full of sparkle, and Katie had some very bizarre feathery pants (or was that pre-waxing?). Ah, the good old days!

Happy 2011!
New Year’s Day is traditionally the one where people stay in their pyjamas all day long, bemoaning the bright lights and wondering if their resolution to drink less can start today with the mother of all hangovers (along with the eat less chocolate, exercise more, whilst giving up smoking, sweets, crisps and stress).
Here at TShirt Studio we have very low expectations. Was it Churchill who said “I like to do everything in moderation, except moderation” or was it Groucho Marx? Still, whoever’s wise words, we intend to stick to that. So, snuggle back into your hoodie and take the rest of the day nice and easy. And have a very very happy new year!

Beaver Diva!
I just love the sales at Net-a-Porter. Some of the biggest discounts around, and I STILL can’t afford even a finger bit of a fingerless glove. Which they probably don’t sell anyway, being far too stylish for such things. (Net-a-Porter, I mean, not the gloves). Still, I love browsing through their online sales rack, and taking a peep at what I would be buying, if mega squillions meant nothing to me.
Possibly the finest coat ever has to be this squirrel/beaver combo by Fendi. With over 50% off, the price has gone totally nuts (sorry) and is now only £3,500 from a snuggly £7,000. Not only is it a beautiful jacket, the whole squirrel/beaver combo sounds like a particularly tasty cajun burger, and is making my tummy rumble. How amazing is that.
This is definitely the most beautiful investment coat, one to squirrel away, perfect for a bit of beaver diva fever!

Down the Hatch!
Wow, It’s Christmas Day. Finally! Having been run ragged in the weeks leading to the great unveiling of presents under the already dead tree, I’m surprised I’m still here to share it with you. The day unfolded as so many before. Late night, early morning, long day. Matchsticks holding the eyes open. And A LOT of festive cheer. The festive cheer is essential, mainly for disguising the taste of the dried turkey, but also for masking any unfestive elements in the day.
So just to serve as a little reminder, lest you wish for a host of singing angels to be holding a rave in your head come Boxing Day, a timely t-shirt to urge you to take a glass of the non festive cheer. I think it’s called pacing yourself. You will thank me, I promise! Merry Christmas!

Yo Fatty!
I popped into my favourite store today, the wonderful Lakeland, home to more cleaning cloths than Lady Gaga’s got rancid meat dresses. Here is where I get my last minute practical presents; soda stream refills, interesting cake moulds, and my newest and best discovery……the FAT MAGNET!
Yes, for anyone who used to be a babe magnet but has gone to seed, or alternatively anyone who cooks a lot the fat magnet is my last minute gadget stroke humorous gift must have. Brilliant for sucking the layer of fat off sauces and gravies (simply fill with ice cubes and watch it suck!). Even better for not so subtly telling someone they’re past it! Hooray! All my Christmas shopping done!
