very british problemsI do love the magical entity that is Very British Problems. A skewed way of viewing our very British way of dealing with life, this little gem started life on Twitter (I think) and has now spawned a book of the same name.

The premise, basically, is that the British rarely say what they mean, and are mostly pretty grumpy. Little tweets such as “Q: Doing anything for Halloween? A: Locking the door, drawing the curtains and sitting very quietly.” are perfect genious, even more so if you think that there is the 140 character limit on Twitter. Tho I think the succinctness of the snippets is what makes Very British Problems so great.

It was only ever a matter of time before the slogans and quotes went very global and got put on a t-shirt. Perfect, I love these, great for anyone who is quintessentially contrarily British!

piratesI’m a massive fan of our personalised hoodies throughout the range. They are just so warm and easy to wash, they’re a bit of a snuggly staple in my wardrobe.

Our kids hoodies are just great too, and perfect for this in between weather. Kids love to design their own items as well, so a legitimate half term activity is to let them create their clothes. Either with the help of our templates, their own design or something you cunningly steer them towards, this is guaranteed to be something they love and will be mega practical. Win win!

Halloween is just around the corner, winking at us with greedy little handfuls of sweets and chocolate and exploding costumes.┬áPersonally, I love a good pumpkin but that’s about as far as my enthusiasm goes in that ghoulish direction.

I do rather like this t-shirt by the amazingness that is Threadless however. Part pumpkin from the Nightmare Before Christmas,shirt_guys_01 part pirate, part uber cutesome cuddliness, this one has definitely got my vote for Trick or Treating, pumpkin carving or just anything atumn-y. Happy Halloween!

PreviewYouDesign (64)Now that the weather is getting colder, I’m almost totally living in my TSS hoodie, hoodies in fact, as I have more than one. So many more. Reason being that apart from being incredibly toasty warm, is that it comes with totally handy little pouchy pockets within the pockets so your phone doesn’t drop out or get lost within many layers of clothing. Such an amazing invention, you’ll never know how you managed before with your phone in your back pocket bum calling random people you really don’t want to be dialling right now!

Oh, and it has thumb holes. The kind you used to make at school and incurring the wrath of the head. These come as standard. Take that!

P1330101The other day a friend was telling me how much he hated sentences which started “So…..blah blah whatever”. I had one of those shrinking moments, as I realised that most things I write start off with a chatty “So, there I was the other day” Arrrgh. There’s nothing like your literary fails being paraded around in front of you for making you shut up and not know what to write.

So , basically I was going to write “So, now we’ve got the new iPhone 6 covers just perfect for you to personalise”, and now I am cringing as I can barely start a sentence without beginning with a so. So, just take a look, they’re great.

I’m off to have a stern word with myself!

CaptureI’m quite sure that Hillary Clinton must be one of the most unflappable women in the States. Having survived the Monica Lewinski affair with a remarkable show of dignity, having to overcome the comments on her dress code must be pretty small fry.

I love how her campaign t-shirt is a take off of her trademark trouser suit. Never a good look (unless you’re Lucy Liu, which frankly, she isn’t), Hillary has embraced the joke, and taken it one further. If a sense of humour was useful in politics, she’d win the race by a mile! Go Hilly!

capital lettersSometimes you read something so funny it just has to go on a mug for someone. This, I think is quite a perfect Secret Santa for any teachers you know. Potentially they may not totally agree, however, I think there is definitely a market for this kind of humour.

Our mugs are perfect for any smutty sayings, inspirational quotes (if you are a little more highbrow than me which doesn’t take much) or photos of your nearest, dearest and cutest. Design away.
