Ages ago I was playing with some templates for our fleecy scarves and the only word I could think of writing in the text box was ‘frozen’. Maybe because it was winter. And I was. Anyway, it gave me a terrible Disney style earworm, and totally put me off what I was doing.

So, when I was hunting through my files for some random thing and I came across this scarf, I was instantly transported back to a day of trying not to be a very unelegant Princess Elsa. And guess what? Yip, it happened all over again. I can’t get that bloody song out of my head.

So today, I’m kinda half showing you our lovely warm soft yummy scarves. And half wanting you to suffer with the singing curse alongside me. You’re welcome. (‘Let it gooooooooo’)

Adding to our range of dog attire, we’re now producing a soft, fleecy personalised dog blanket. I know they’ve got coats and stuff anyway, but these are extra snuggly for them to lie on; cute and homely, but best of all, super easy to wash. ¬†There’s a range of templates, including different breeds of dogs. They also dry almost immediately, so if you’d gone for a muddy walk and the blanket’s taken the brunt, you can get it clean and unsmelly in no time.

A great treat for any of your canine comforts. Also handy for baby lions, hyenas or other mucky household pets!

With the Easter holidays coming up, it’s time for a lot of people to snatch that last bit of snow and bung the kids on the slope, going for a leisurely ski, or a high octane snowboarding session. Alternatively, it’s a great time to go for a brisk (cheap) walk or clear the garden (free and unappreciated).

Whatever you intend to do this Easter, if you need to keep warm, you’ll be wanting one of our Peruvian knit hats. I can’t get enough of them. Truly a sickening variety of colours, embroidered with your own text, or something from our template selection, and super super warm!

Best of all they have long, flappy ear bits (that’s the technical term) which keep your ears warm whatever you’re up to. My essential spring purchase!

Way back in September I was flicking through the Independent  when I spotted an article on a chap who was writing poetry about the size of his penis. That was pretty brave, I thought, and tweeted the link absent-mindedly.

I was a bit surprised when the guy said thank you for the tweet. I guess he must have been looking out for any response to the article. Thinking I was being slightly humorous, I mocked up a couple of t-shirts and sent them over. To my mild surprise he absolutely loved them, and was really keen to have one. His wife particularly liked the one with the upside down crown and a slogan reading ‘Keep Calm It’s 4 Inches and Awesome!’ (awesome being my favourite word at the time). The piece on Ant Smith in the Independent had caught my eye because what shone through was Ant’s amazing attitude. It was pretty awesome. He’d confronted a taboo and through his creativity and humour, completely owned it. With that kind of attitude, I thought, we could conquer the world and still be smiling.

As it happened, the Boss was away on holiday, and I didn’t want to disturb him, so I bought the t-shirt I’d mocked up on my own credit card. I know the point of a business is that other people are supposed to buy your wares, you’re not supposed to buy things for your customers, but Ant’s was of tackling his…er…tackle completely blew me away, and he so loved the t-shirt idea, it seemed like a no brainer. Ok, so I did think maybe I shouldn’t make a habit of buying potential customers t-shirts. Hmmmmm….there’s a reason I’m not the Boss, right?

Fast forward several months, and Ant is front page news all over the world. His Big Small Penis Party has struck a chord with countless chaps who were worried they don’t measure up, and the papers have seized on the opportunity to provide pictures of rude vegetables and suggestive headlines. Oh, and the t-shirt. The t-shirt is definitely having it’s 15 minutes. Iconic, Ant calls it. Although, to be fair, I think he’s the icon.

It’s International Women’s Day, which is a platform to celebrate and encourage women the world over to inspire themselves. And to be pissed off at tampon tax and unequal pay and not to be able to take safety for granted. You’d think that in the 21st Century, women wouldn’t need their own International Day, but they do, and you only need to flick your eyes across the top news stories to see that our increasingly developed world is becoming more like the Dark Ages every day.

So, to celebrate and encourage women, here’s a choice quote on a mug. This line by Janis Joplin isn’t just about feminism, it’s about everyone equally, which is kinda the point I guess.

Our favourite photo meister Liam Mercer has been hard at it this week photographing our exciting new range of gifts and garments coming to the website just in time for Spring. A very cute, but tired and hungry baby Lottie found it all a little too much after her family dog Bella went first in the shoot proving the adage ‘never work with children and animals’. Our long suffering media partner Cathy @ Vision On Communications can now add childrens entertainer to her CV!

Also a big thanks to the models Abbie Kyte, Daniel Hopkins, Baby Lottie and Bella the Dog!

I’m having a total love in moment with punchy designer Henry Holland‘s latest collection of t-shirts. From ironic newspaper covers in fluorescent bold print, logos ahoy, to Mr Men and Little Misses gone AWOL. I really like the creativity and the attitude. There’s bags of attitude!

This being ‘designer’ designer, the prices are in the Delevigne bracket, however there are some reduced numbers, which are no less shabby for being that bit cheaper. This kind of gear will set you apart as a modern day Britster, so it’s worth checking out and being prepared for the imminent good weather (it’s chucking hailstones out of the window at the moment, so optimism is struggling a wee bit).

Pair with jeans and a supermodel gurn for instant cool!
