Marc Jacobs  has proven once again why he’s one of the top designers in the world of fashion by selling t-shirts with a picture of his Paris store covered with graffiti for £450.

In response to vandals who have targeted Jacob’s premises before, the designer’s quick thinking response has made a laughing stock of the perpetrators and elevated Jacobs to the ranks of the super smart. And as much as a protest against capitalism might have carried weight, this little number has totally backfired. I have to say, the only response is to give Jacob’s a metaphorical pat on his Vuitton clad back. Awesome work!

Mary Katrantzou has almost single-handedly revolutionised the concept of printing in terms of fashion. Her vivacious, exuberant all over motifs always look amazing and to own one of her pieces is like being in possession of a lesser known Van Gogh. Ok, so I’m exaggerating a bit. Not much mind.

This one is a fantastic top featuring the design on the top of a fiver (think it’s a fiver, don’t totally quote me). It’s beyond awesome and more than that it’s in the sale (£357 at Matches). Yes it costs a fortnights rent. Yes, you could live in it. High Fiver Mary!

Sadly, due to yesterdays revelation that all you need to do to make yourself a whole 12% attractive to women is sport a classic white tee with the letter ‘T’ stamped upon the front, a whole lot of suggestions about what to out on the back of the t-shirt have been …er….politely suggested. Mostly by our staff who have (collectively) an awful sense of humour. OK, so maybe I sniggered a bit.

Anway, if the enormous ‘T’ on the front of your entire wasn’t enough to make any sane woman (or man) run to the hills, why not really stamp your point home with a few choice letters to the rear of your shirt. So far, we’ve come up with (T)’osser’, ‘wat’ and ‘iny’.

If you are intellectually above this, then please skip this post and go on to the next. It is an in depth discussion on the role of war and peace in, um ‘War and Peace’. Honest!

Apparently, according to an article in the Daily Mail, that oracle of truth and enlightenment, that bastion of fairness, that……oh whatever……anyway, according to them, men who wear a t-shirt with the letter “T” emblazoned across the front are 12% more likely to be found attractive by women.

The science behind the study is that the capital t acts a bit like a body illusion effect, outlining broad shoulders and a lean torso. Think Stella McCartney optical illusion dress but less classy. Hey, you can try it, and I’m certainly not knocking it until we’ve done the acid test in our wearhouse (what if our staff only look 11.5% more attractive?), and then we’ll know for sure. One thing I’m certain of however, a t-shirt with a T on the front ain’t going to make you into David Beckham. I’m 100% sure of that!

At what is supposed to be the height of the British summer, the mega music festival that is Glastonbury is about to kick off. And since Kate Moss single-handedly made made Glasto the muddiest catwalk on the planet, what you pack is going to be very, very important.

With the weather doing it’s typical ‘Oh, is it supposed to be summer then?’ kind of thing, and to be honest whether there’s going to be even the slightest whiff of sunshine is anyone’s guess. So, just to be ready for anything why not personalise your own hoodie or tee ready for the inevitable rain. With our increasingly awesome website, it’s easier and more technologically jiggy than ever before to customise your own stuff, and our preview option shows you exactly how your finished design will turn out. Enjoy the mud and music!

If you’re after a statement tee with all the stops pulled out, then you wouldn’t need to look much further than this little number from Moschino’s Cheap n’ Chic diffusion line. This is a stunning vibrant silk number with a really beautiful print of a tea pot with flowers coming out of it and wouldn’t need much dressing up; it’s a complete outfit in itself so don’t overdo it.

Now the ‘Cheap n Chic’ bit I have to say, is a bit of a misnomer; chic maybe but not all that cheap, not on my budget anyway. However this is in the sale and down by 50% on mywardrobe.com so you might want to take a look for yourself.

Wildfox Couture do a really great line in vintage printed t-shirts. Loved by celebs the world over,  they combine that lived in look with a contemporary twist and some great slogans to boot.

Here’s the lovely Diane Kruger proving that with a really great faded t-shirt all you need is some accompanying denim, the more knackered the better. Of course if you look like Kruger (Diane not Freddie) then you could get away with wearing a sack and you’d still be top of the sartorial food chain, but you could do much worse than take fashion tips from one of the most beautiful actresses around. Check out the sale at ASOS for some bargains or go straight to their website to see what’s out now.

News that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby is to be called North has been met with a Twitter storm of scorn. To be fair, they are merely following in the Louboutin-steps of many a celebrity who gives it’s offspring a life sentence of teasing (dear Gwynnie springs to mind as a repeat offender, although the overall winner has to be son of Jermaine Jackson who is officially called Jermajesty).

However, ours is not to reason why, and every little baby deserves the best, irrespective of their nomenclature, so to celebrate the arrival of a new one, why not personalise one of our teddy bears with the name of the child; it is a gorgeous gift, and one that will last forever (even if the child grows up and changes it’s name)

Perfect sporting gear for the summer season, our polo shirts just couldn’t be easier to personalise with embroidery or printing. For embroidery we now offer a twenty different colours with the stitching on the chest.

We’ve been working so hard on fancifying our preview option that you might be forgiven for thinking that the image you’re just created in front of you is some kind of Wonka-esque Mike TV miniature, however are technology is now so advanced (the boss has been drinking a lot of coffee) that you can see an almost exact replica of the end product. Awesome, huh!

I like the idea from Cat’s Print Shop of printing a silhouette, really proper old fashioned style, from a photograph of your choice. Available in a variety of styles, they come either as framed prints, but there is also a range of personalised gift ideas, such as cufflinks and pendants. And there are different colours of silhouettes rather than your traditional Victorian black.

An ideal gift for someone who loves their pet or child (probably in that order) or a superb grandparent/parent pressie. Worth checking out!
